### Silver Eagle - American Wildlife (2.) - Cougar 1 Oz Silver - Uncirculated - in Color - 2nd Issue of the new "American Wildlife" Series - 1 Ounce 99.9% Silver - Mintage only 2,500 pieces - Delivery in Capsule with Product Card The second issue of the new Silver Eagle series **"American Wildlife"** is dedicated to the **Cougar** (Puma concolor). The colored motive shows an image of a jumping adult cougar. The year of issue 2022 and a detail of the American flag can be seen on the lower edge of the coin. Above the cougar is the inscription "The Cougar". The reverse depicts the American bald eagle, the denomination "ONE DOLLAR" and the weight and fineness "1 OZ. FINE SILVER". The **Cougar** is also known as the silver lion or mountain lion. Cougars are mammals, belong to the cat family (Felidae) and are more closely related to the domestic cat than to the lion. They are characterized by their extraordinary agility and strength - they are able to jump from the ground up to 5.5 meters high. While the habitat of cougars once stretched across the entire American continent, their range has now been greatly reduced. Adult cougars have virtually no natural enemies and are protected species in the United States of America - yet they are considered endangered and now live almost exclusively in areas unpopulated or sparsely populated by humans. The **American Wildlife - Cougar Silver Eagle coin in color** is delivered in a protective capsule including an illustrated product card. \* This coin has been colored by a private company.
