The Victoria was one of the five ships of Ferdinand Magellan's armada that set sail in 1519 on behalf of the Spanish crown to find a western sea route to the Spice Islands. The Victoria was the only ship to return to Spain in 1522, completing the first historically documented circumnavigation of the globe. It was reconstructed in Spain in 1922 and set sail to circumnavigate the world like Ferdinand Magellan from 2004 to 2006 with 20 sailors.
