Both coins were struck from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver in uncirculated quality. They were refined with **black ruthenium** and partially with **white color applications**. The **African Wildlife Series** is characterized by an annually changing motive and is very popular among collectors and investors worldwide. The motive of both coins features a mother elephant with her baby wandering through the African steppe. At the edge of the coin are the inscriptions "AFRICAN WILDLIFE" and "ELEPHANT", "1 oz" and the fineness "Ag 999.9".
