Silver - Uncirculated - 4th Issue of the "Knight's Tales" Series - 5 Coin Series - Mintage 30,000 pieces - Delivery in Blistercard The **five-coin series** **"Knight's Tales"** is dedicated to the 825th anniversary of Vienna's first mint and the history of **Austria**. The anniversary coins tell about the Middle Ages, the monetary system, knightly virtues and much more. The fourth release in the series commemorates the Order of St. John. The charitable organization was founded in 1099 by Benedictine Brother Gerard Tum. The order pursued the intention to provide care for the sick and poor - later, however, it also developed an entrepreneurial and military function. The motive of the **10 Euro Fortitude commemorative coin** in uncirculated quality features a "Hospitaller" haggling with a trader at a market stall. The reverse depicts a knight of the Order of St. John with his sword drawn. The crest of the order - an eight-pointed white cross on a red background - can be seen to his right. It is held by a heraldic hippocamp, a creature that is half horse, half fish and originated in Greek mythology. The commemorative silver coin is delivered in an illustrated blistercard.
