### The Easter Lamb - Easter Coin 2017 5 Euro - 8,41 gr. Silver - Uncirculated - Mintage 50,000 pieces - Delivery in Blistercard This 5 Euro **Easter Coin** is dedicated to the **Easter Lamb**. The motive depicts a lamp laying in a flower meadow. The background shows a naive representation of the Lamb of God holding a banner. The image is from a relief sculpture found on early 13th century keystone parish church of St Egidi in the Austrian province of Steiermark (Styria). The lamb also plays a role in local customs, especially at Easter. In Christian iconography, the lamb is the symbol of Jesus Christ. Together with the victory flag it symbolizes the resurrection of Christ. As in all previous Austrian 5 Euro coins, the nine national coats of arms are arranged on the reverse of the nine-sided coin. The **5 Euro Easter Coin** is delivered in an illustrated blistercard.
