Following the rabbit, the dragon is the fifth animal in the Chinese Zodiac calendar. The fifth issue of the 12-year Lunar III series features a colored image of the mythical creature. Stylized waves and a flaming pearl surround the dragon. The design also includes the inscription "DRAGON 2024" and the **mintmark "P125" signifying The Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary**. A special feature of this edition is a **Privy Mark of 1 gram of pure gold**, which represents the Chinese character for "dragon". The reverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, supplemented with the dates of her reign, the denomination and fineness.
