### Australian Koala - 2026 - ANDA Coin Show Special 1 Oz Silver - Uncirculated - in Color - Special edition for the Brisbane Money Expo ANDA 2026 - 2026 Australian Koala Design - Limited Mintage only 2,500 pieces - Delivery in Blistercard with ANDA logo This special edition was minted by the **Perth Mint** on the occasion of the **Brisbane Money Expo ANDA** and is dedicated to the **Australian Koala**. The Perth Mint has been issuing the Australian Koala coin with an annually changing motive since 2007. The design of the coin struck from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver features a koala on the branch of a eucalyptus tree. The background is in color and depicts a eucalyptus forest bathed in the light of the setting sun. Also included in the design are the inscriptions “KOALA” and “2026 1 oz 9999 SILVER”. The reverse features the portrait of King Charles III and the denomination. Together with the kangaroo, the koala is one of the best-known representatives of the Australian fauna and is considered one of Australia's most popular symbols, not least because of its cute appearance. At first glance, koalas appear to be loners. Only on closer observation can it be seen that they live in a stable social system. Each animal has its own territory. This includes fixed feeding and sleeping trees. Koalas only eat the nutrient-poor leaves of the eucalyptus tree. They are still very picky. Of the 600 or so eucalyptus species in Australia, they only accept a very small number as food. The **limited Koala Expo special** edition is delivered in an illustrated blister card with the ANDA logo.
