### Wedge-Tailed Eagle - 2022 1 Oz Platinum - Reverse Proof - 99.95% Platinum - Limited Mintage only 200 pieces - With numbered Certificate of Authenticity - Delivery in the original wooden Box The 2022 edition of the **Wedge-Tailed Eagle** is the seventh design from the famous engraver John M. Mercanti, the 12th Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint. Struck from 1 ounce 99,95% platinum, the motive features the head of a Wedge-Tailed Eagle - Australia's largest bird of prey. The detailed design highlights the eagle's plumage, eyes and large, hooked beak. In addition the inscription "AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE", the year of issue, the fineness and the traditional Mintmark "P" of the Perth Mint are included in the design. The reverse shows the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination. The **Wedge-Tailed eagle** is one of the biggest eagles in the world. His impressive wings have a wingspan of up to 2.7 meters. The impressive animal is predominantly native to Australia, Tasmania and southern Papa New Guinea. The strictly limited **Wedge-Tailed Eagle platinum coin in Reverse Proof** is delivered in the original wooden box including a numbered certificate of authenticity from the **Perth Mint**.
