The motive of the coin struck from 0.5 gram of 99.99% pure gold depicts a T-Rex with its prey. Mountains, forests and two other dinosaurs can be seen in the background. Next to the T-Rex, the inscriptions "TYRANNOSAURUS REX", "68-66 MIO YEARS BC" and the year of issue 2020 are shown. The motive is framed by the name of the series "PREHISTORIC LIFE". The Tyrannosaurus Rex roamed the earth during the time of the Upper Cretaceous. The gigantic carnivore, whose name means "King of the Tyrannosaurus Lizards", reached a body length of up to 13 meters and weighed up to 7 tons. The reverse shows the coat of arms of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The limited gold coin is delivered in a protective capsule.
