### Canadian Grizzly Bear - Wildlife Portraits (2.) 35 gr. Gold - Proof - Second issue in the Canadian Wildlife Portraits Series - 99,999% pure Gold - Limited Mintage only 450 pieces - With numbered Certificate of Authenticity - Delivery in original Box The second release in the annual **Canadian Wildlife Portraits Series** from the **Royal Canadian Mint** is dedicated to the Canadian **Grizzly Bear**. The 350$ coin was struck from 35 grams of 99.999% pure gold in proof quality. The motive features the close-up image of a grizzly bear in the water. The design also includes the initials "WAH" by the artist W. Allan Hancock, the country of issue "CANADA" and the year of issue "2020". The reverse depicts the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. and the denomination "350 DOLLARS". The grizzly bear is a subspecies of the brown bear, which is endemic to North America. It reaches a head-torso length of two to three meters and a weight of up to 500 kilograms. The grizzly bear was widely spread in America in the past. In 1975 it was put on the list of endangered species, because the populations in the USA as well as in Canada had drastically decreased. The **mintage is strictly limited to only 450 pieces worldwide**. The **Grizzly Bear gold proof coin** is delivered in the original box including a numbered certificate of authenticity from the Royal Canadian Mint.
