Gold - Proof - First issue in the Canadian Wildlife Portraits Series - 99,999% pure Gold - Limited Mintage only 400 pieces - With Certificate of Authenticity - Delivery in original Box The first issue of the new annual **Canadian Wildlife Portraits Series** from the **Royal Canadian Mint** is dedicated to the Canadian **Cougar**. The coin was struck from 35 grams of 99.999% pure gold and features the close view of a cougar on the branch of a tree. The design also includes the initials 'DMJ' by the artist Denis Mayer Junior. The reverse of the coin depicts the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the year '2019' and the denomination '350 DOLLARS'. The cougar belongs to the genus of cats and is native to North, Central and South America. The muscular cat eats mainly deers, small animals and fishes.
