The second release is a tribute to the writer and translator **Veza Canetti** (1897-1963). Born Venetiana Tauber-Calderon in Vienna, the wife of Nobel Prize winner and writer Elias Canetti became particularly well known for her stories about social problems and violence published in newspapers, some of which are autobiographical. The **gold coin** honors the highly educated Veza Canetti, who was long overshadowed by her husband and also received little attention from literary scholars. The motive features a depiction of Veza Canetti in profile, framed by the inscription "VEZA CANETTI", as well as the state of issue, year of issue and denomination. The reverse shows fictitious portraits of Veza and Elias Canetti and emphasizes the role of Veza Canetti in the background.
