The third release is dedicated to the visionary architect **Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky** (1897-2000). The motive features a portrait of Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky in front of a stylized floor plan. The design also includes the denomination, the year of issue and the inscriptions “REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH” and “MARGARETE SCHÜTTE-LIHOTZKY”. The reverse combines the depiction of the “Frankfurt Kitchen” and the Hietzing Werkbund Estate, and also shows a freely designed portrait of the young Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky. As one of the first women to study architecture in Austria and practise the profession, Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky gained international fame for her design of the “Frankfurt Kitchen” and has since been regarded as the inventor of the modern fitted kitchen.
