The **gold coin** is dedicated to the untouched nature as found in the Kalkalpen National Park in Upper Austria. The motive features a lynx in the foreground and the main ridge of the Sengsen Mountains in the background. The inscription "KALKALPEN" additionally refers to the Austrian national park. On the reverse is a Dark Bellflower - this is an endemic flower that occurs in the Kalkalpen National Park. Other representations of this flower are shown in the background. The inscriptions "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH", "2021", "50 **EURO**" and the Latin name of the flower, "Campanula Pulla", are also included in the coin design.
