### Australian Sovereign - 2021 7,98 gr. Gold - Proof - Australian Sovereign of the Perth Mint - Mintage only 1,000 pieces - With numbered Certificate of Authenticity - Delivery in original wooden Box This **Sovereign gold coin** was struck by the **Perth Mint** from 7,98 Gram of gold in proof quality. The commemorative gold coin celebrates the **95th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II** while paying tribute to the historic 1855 Sydney Mint sovereign coin designed by Royal Mint Engraver Leonard Charles Wyon, which was the first coin to be produced at The Sydney Mint in 1855. Under the authority of Queen Victoria, a new reverse design was developed to differentiate the Sydney Mint sovereigns from the Imperial coins. The coin portrays the St Edward’s crown, a laurel wreath and the word ‘AUSTRALIA’, historic elements of Royal Mint engraver Leonard Charles Wyon’s original Type I reverse. The design also includes the inscriptions ‘PERTH MINT’ and ‘SOVEREIGN’. In celebration of the 95th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II in 2021, the coin also bears a **privy mark showing the number '95'**. The coin’s obverse depicts the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2021 year-date and the monetary denomination. The limited **Sovereign gold coin** is delivered in the original wooden Box including a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
