### Australian Double Sovereign - 2018 15,98 gr. Gold - Proof - The Perth Mint’s first Double Sovereign - Limited Mintage of only 500 pieces - Numbered Certificate - In original wooden Box with Certificate of Authenticity - With prestigious Presentation Packaging The first Australian Sovereign with the unique colonial design was struck from the Perth Mint on 23 June 1855 in Sydney. Since then, more than 400 million coins were created in Sydney. To build on its success, in 2018 the first Double Sovereign of the Perth Mint was struck from 91.70% gold. The commemorative motive shows the St Edward’s crown, a laurel wreath and the words 'AUSTRALIA' and 'DOUBLE SOUVEREIGN'. The obverse of the $ 50 gold coin depicts the Ian Rank Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the currency denomination, and the year 2018. The Australian Double Sovereign is limited to 500 pieces and comes in a noble wooden box including a numbered certificate.
