### Wedge-Tailed Eagle - 2026 1 Oz Gold - Reverse Proof - Ultra High Relief - 1 oz 99.99% pure Gold - Limited Mintage only 350 pieces - With numbered Certificate of Authenticity - Delivery in original wooden Box The 2026 **Ultra High Relief** issue of the **Wedge-Tailed Eagle** was struck by The Perth Mint from **1 ounce of 99.99% pure gold in reverse proof**. This year’s design was once again created in collaboration with renowned U.S. engraver John M. Mercanti and depicts the heads and upper neck areas of two wedge-tailed eagles in detailed execution. The motive is framed by the inscriptions “AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE” and “2026 1oz 9999 GOLD”. Also integrated into the design is the traditional “P” mintmark of The Perth Mint. The reverse features the portrait of King Charles III along with the denomination “100 DOLLARS”. The wedge-tailed eagle is one of the largest birds of prey in the world and is regarded as one of Australia’s best-known eagle species. Its wings can reach a span of up to 2.7 metres. This impressive bird is primarily found in Australia and Tasmania, but also occurs in southern Papua New Guinea. It inhabits a variety of landscapes and feeds mainly on reptiles, birds and smaller mammals. The **Wedge-Tailed Eagle 1 oz Reverse Proof Gold Coin in Ultra High Relief** is delivered in the original wooden box including a numbered certificate of authenticity from The Perth Mint.
