### Klondike Gold Rush - 125th Anniversary - Passage for Gold (3.) 1 Oz Gold - Uncirculated - 3rd Release in the series "Klondike Gold Rush" - Bullion Coin - 1 Oz 99,999% pure Gold - Delivery in Blistercard The gold bullion coin series from the **Royal Canadian Mint**[](https://www.emk.com/de-de/pr%C3%A4gest%C3%A4tten/royal-canadian-mint/)is dedicated to the **125th Anniversary** of the world-famous **Klondike Gold Rush** (1896-1899) in Canada. The third issue is titled "**Passage for Gold**" and was struck from **one ounce of 99.999% pure gold**. The detailed motive depicts not only prospectors in the process of panning for gold using a wash trough, but also a locomotive as used by the White Pass and Yukon Route Railway in the early 1900s. The 175 km White Pass & Yukon Route was completed in 1900 and was used for goods, gold and passenger transportation. It was one of the most important means of transportation in and out of the Yukon. The motive is surrounded by the inscriptions "CANADA 2023", "FINE GOLD 99999 1 OZ OR PUR" as well as a small maple leaf engraved with the year of issue. The reverse features the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, supplemented with the dates of her reign, and the denomination "200 DOLLARS". The discovery in 1896 and the following gold rush in Klondike played a very important part in Canada's history and is now in its 125th anniversary year. It sealed not only Canada's fate as one of the world's leading gold producers, but also had a devastating impact on local indigenous communities and the environment. The **200 Dollar Canadian gold coin**[](https://www.emk.com/en-us/collection/canada/200-dollar-gold/)is delivered in the original blistercard from the Royal Canadian Mint.
