This Pre-Owned 1992 UK 10p Proof Silver 2-Coin Set consists of two ten-pence silver coins and was issued to celebrate the introduction of the new smaller ten pence pieces in 1992. The set includes the older large design together with the newer 1992 smaller coin. Both coins feature the crowned lion of Great Britain and details of the coin's denomination. The obverse side of each coin bears a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. - Total coin weight: 17.18 grams. - Struck in 925.0 sterling silver. - Struck to a proof finish. - VAT free and Capital Gains Tax free. - Larger coin diameter: 28.5mm - Smaller coin diameter: 24.5mm - Supplied in Royal Mint presentation box with certificate. These coins are sold under the second-hand margin scheme so there is no VAT for the client to pay.
