2008 Emblems Of Britain Brilliant Uncirculated Coin Set
This Royal Mint set of seven BU coins celebrates the Emblems of Britain. Christopher Ironside's reverse designs were definitive on UK coinage from Decimalisation Day in 1971. Displaying designs such as the Crowned Lion 10p and Tudor Rose 20p, the set is an all-in-one commemoration of the definitive circulating designs. In 2008, the Emblems of Britain suite of designs was replaced by Matt Dent's Royal Shield designs, making this final-issue set an important snapshot. These brilliant uncirculated coins are struck in base metal and are arranged in denomination order in the original display packaging. Pre-owned.
