1978 Zambia Proof Annual Coin Set
Here is the Zambia Royal Mint 'Coins of the World' proof set: a six-coin collection celebrating the African nation's coinage. These coins are struck under the Kwacha currency and are denominated in subunits of Ngwee, from 50 to 1. The shared obverse shows a coinage effigy of Kenneth Kaunda, Zambia's first president. While the reverse of the 50 Ngwee shows the fabulous Zambian Arms, the remaining coins feature wildlife depictions such as the Aardvark 1n and Antelope 20p.
