2024 Royal Tudor Beasts Crown depicting the sixth design in the ten-coin series: Tudor Dragon. This Royal Mint release represents the 10 stone heraldic beasts present on the Moat Bridge at Hampton Court Palace - each symbolic of Henry VIII's right to rule. David Lawrence's reverse shows the Tudor Dragon in its full majesty, grasping a shield of the Beaufort Portcullis. The obverse, meanwhile, bears Charles III as designed by Martin Jennings. The original Royal Mint Tudor Beasts folder is included, housing the coin in a protective capsule. A history of Henry VIII's Hampton Court 'acquisition' and insightful details into the fantastical design of this Tudor Dragon coin are also found within. As of other commemorative Crowns, this British coin has a denomination of Five Pounds sterling. Lastly, an impressive diameter of 38.61 millimetres is found on this 28.28 gram coin, which is struck in cupronickel to a collectable BU finish.
