This BUnc Piglet 50 Pence coin forms part of the Royal Mint's Winne-the-Pooh & Friends series, which featured nine coins released between 2020 and 2022. This coin depicts Pooh Bear's loyal friend Piglet and is the third release in this charming series. Piglet first appeared as an illustration in chapter II of A A Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh novel in 1926, with the character being based on one of the stuffed animals owned by Milne's son. Piglet is depicted as generally timid with a squeaky voice, but he attempts to be brave and conquer his fears. The character is shown on this coin in a design inspired by E H Shepard's original illustrations and is officially approved by the Walt Disney Company. Piglet is shown blowing on a dandelion, with a bee buzzing under the text. This design is paired with Jody Clark's UK coin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II that appears to the obverse. This collectable 50p weighs 8.00 grams, consists of cupronickel and comes in an attractive limited edition slipcase. It's struck in a brilliant uncirculated finish, for a superior appearance compared to the coins in your change. A limited edition coin folder is issued as standard, which is the original packaging from the Royal Mint. System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String] System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String]
