Venezuela 20 Bolivares
Description Venezuela is a country in South America and the gold bolivar became legal tender under the monetary law of 1887. The bolivar gets its name from famous political and military leader, Simon Bolivar, the hero of South American independence. The obverse of the coin features Bolivar’s bust, who is also known as El Libertador. ‘BOLIVAR’ and ‘LIBERTADOR’ is inscribed around the edge of the coin. The reverse of the coin features Venezuela’s national coat of arms and date of mintage, weight and fineness (0.9000). The Venezuela 20 Bolivares were minted between 1879-1912.
