Two Ounce Silver Werewolf
Description Two Ounce Silver Werewolf, from the Royal Canadian Mint, are dated 2021. This was the second and final design in their ‘Creatures of the North’ series, the first release was the [Kraken](https://www.atsbullion.com/product/two-ounce-silver-kraken/), dated 2020. The reverse of the coin features a menacing werewolf, in front of a full moon, surrounded by the forest. The coin also has anti-counterfeit measures, consisting of radial lines and a micro-engraved laser-cut maple leaf, that reads ’21’ for the year of issue. The legend of the Werewolf dates back to ancient Greek and Roman myths. The term Werewolf originated from the idea of men transforming into wolves, often occurring on the night of a full moon. The obverse of the coin features the portrait of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. These coins are preowned. All of our silver coins are verified for authenticity by our experienced team.
