Description Tenth Ounce Gold Panda coins were first made in 1982 and up until 2000 had a face value of 10 yuan, but now has a face value of 50 yuan. The last Panda was minted in 2015, after which the coin changed to a 3g coin in 2016, which is slightly smaller. The coin depicts the Temple of Heaven in Beijing on the obverse, while the reverse has an annually changing design of the panda. The tenth ounce gold Panda are made in pure gold (24ct).
