Slabbed Quarter Ounce Gold Shaken Not Stirred (PF70 ULTRA CAMEO)
Description Slabbed Quarter Ounce Gold Shaken Not Stirred (PF70 ULTRA CAMEO) dated 2020. There was a grading system from the 1940s that ascribed a number between 1 and 70 to each coin (70 being mint condition). Dr William Sheldon’s scale worked on the basis that a coin graded at 70 would be valued at 70 times more than the value of a coin graded at 1. This scale forms the basis of the grading system today. **PF** denotes Proof coins. **ULTRA CAMEO** means that the fields are deeply mirrored and the devices are heavily frosted for bold contrast on both sides of the coin. The coins are slabbed to maintain the condition in a protective case. In the films, Bond can often be found ordering his signature martini, in the *Goldfinger* film, we hear him say “A martini. Shaken, not stirred”. Bond has an iconic style and is only ever seen in the most stylish and perfectly tailored labels. The reverse features Bond’s go-to outfit, his classic tuxedo, also known as a dinner jacket, on the reverse of the coin. Micro-text is included within the 007 motif, within the micro-text you can see the names of the first 25 James Bond films. If you collect all three coins they will reveal a hidden title. The obverse of the coin features Jody Clark’s portrait of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth. These coins benefit from being Capital Gains Tax (CGT) Free and VAT free.
