Russian 10 Rouble
Description Russian 10 Rouble gold coins were first introduced alongside the 5 Rouble in 1886 until 1911, when the production of Russian gold coinage was suspended. The Russian 10 Rouble coins are dated 1895-1911. The obverse of the coin features a portrait of Nicholas II, the last Russian TSAR, in medieval Russia, this a term for a Supreme Ruler. He ruled from 1894 until 1917, when he abdicated. He was the last ruler of Russia before the revolution that established the Soviet Union and he was executed. The coin reads ‘Б.М.НИКОЛАЙ II ИМПЕРАТОРЬ И САМОДЕРЖЕЦЪ ВСЕРОСС’, which is translated to ‘By the Grace of God Nikolai II Emperor and Autocrat of All Russia’. The reverse of the coin features the double-headed, crowned Eagle along with the Imperial coat of arms. These coins are preowned, please contact us to find out what years we have available.
