Queen’s Beast Ten Ounce Silver White Horse
Description Queen’s Beast Ten Ounce Silver White Horse of Hanover is dated 2021 and was the ninth of ten designs in the Royal Mints: Queen’s Beast bullion range. This range is in recognition of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, when she surpassed Queen Victoria as the longest reigning Monarch on the 9th September 2015. These will feature the ten heraldic beasts that stood guard at Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation. The original casts are now held in the Canadian Museum of History in Quebec. The detailed shield is split into four and references Britain, France Ireland and Hanover. In 1714 the throne was passed to George of Hanover (George I). He brought with him the representations of the region, this included the white horse. The White Horse is displayed as standing up, this is so it can be differentiated from the galloping German horse of Hanover. These coins are preowned. These coins benefit from being Capital Gains Tax (CGT) Free. All UK gold and silver bullion coins manufactured by the Royal Mint are legal tender and are exempt from Capital Gains Tax.
