Description This quarter ounce gold Britannia and Liberty coin is dated 2024. The Royal Mint partnered with the United States Mint to honour two national symbols, Britannia and Liberty. They are depicted in one united design and shown as equal. Britannia is often portrayed in many ways, in this design she has a wavy hair style to represent her historic connection with the sea, as well as holding her trident. Liberty is not portrayed through a specific ethnic origin and therefore symbolises America as a whole. The trident and torch is symmetrical, uniting the elements of fire and water. The obverse of the coin features a portrait of His Majesty King Charles III. These coins are preowned. These coins benefit from being Capital Gains Tax (CGT) Free and VAT free.
