Description The Royal Mint celebrated the 95th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II with the release of a limited edition quarter ounce coin in 2021. The coin prominently features the inscription “My heart and my devotion”, lifted from a promise made to the nation and commonwealth during Queen Elizabeth’s first televised Christmas address in 1957. The reverse image of the coin is made up of plant or flower-based symbols indicative of the four nations of the United Kingdom. The rose for England, the thistle for Scotland, the daffodil for Wales and the shamrock for Northern Ireland surround the Queen’s initials. The 95th Birthday coin comes in a plastic capsule with original Royal Mint box and outer packaging as well as an informative booklet highlighting key moments of Queen Elizabeth’s life from her birth in 1926, to her marriage in 1947, her coronation in 1953 up to her 90th birthday celebrations in 2016.
