Description This proof gold four coin eagle set is dated 1993. The set consists of proof versions of the one ounce ($50), half ounce ($25), quarter ounce ($10) and one tenth ounce ($5) American Eagle. These coins have been produced since 1985, Eagles minted in the timeframe of 1986 to 1991 display the date in Roman Numerals, from 1992 onwards all dates go back to the original format. The one ounce gold eagle does not have an annually changing design, however in 2021 a Type 2 design was released to mark the 35^th^ Anniversary of the Eagle. The obverse of the coin features Lady Liberty holding a torch and olive branch and the reverse of the coin features the iconic eagle carrying an olive branch and protecting a nest. Each coin within the four coin Eagle set comes in a plastic capsule, along with original US Mint boxes and certificate of authenticity. All of our gold proof sets are verified for authenticity by our experienced team. Any coins that fall short of our quality standards are not re-sold. As members of the [BNTA](http://www.bnta.net/) we ensure that our reputation as a reputable dealer of gold and silver coins and bars is upheld, whether a purchase is for our “best price” or brand new coins.
