This Pre-Owned 2016 Canadian Cougar 1oz Silver Coin was the first coin from the Royal Canadian Mint's four coin 'Canadian Predator' series. The coin features a micro-engraved maple leaf mint mark for enhanced security. The reverse of the coin depicts a design of a cougar leaping toward its prey, designed by Canadian artist Emily Damstra. The obverse of each coin features the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. - Contains 1 troy ounce of 999.9 fine silver. - Manufactured by The Royal Canadian Mint. - Struck to bullion finish. - VAT free. - Dimensions: Diameter: 38.00mm. Thickness: 3.29mm. The Canadian Mint introduced the Canadian Cougar as its first coin from the four-coin 'Canadian Predator' series. The series consists of four, one ounce silver coins that are struck in 99.99% pure silver, and celebrates some of Canada’s most iconic animals of prey. The 2016 Cougar was the first of the four coins, and is limited to a maximum mintage of 1million coins. As these coins are sold on the second hand margin scheme, there is no VAT for the client to pay.
