This Pre-Owned 2000 UK Queen Mother Royal Birthday Collection was issued to celebrate the 100th birthday of the Queen Mother, and consists of two full sovereigns dated 1900 and 2000, along with a silver crown from 2000. Each of the sovereigns features the St George & the Dragon design on the reverse, with the Royal portrait on the obverse. The silver crown features a portrait of the Queen Mother on the reverse, and bears the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. - Sovereign coins each weigh 7.98g and are 916.7 (22ct) gold. - Crown weighs 28.28g and is 925.0 sterling silver. - Manufactured by The Royal Mint. - VAT free and Capital Gains Tax exempt. - Supplied in the original Royal Mint presentation box with a certificate of authenticity.
