This Pre-Owned 2007 £2 Silver Proof Coin commemorates the bicentenary of the abolition of the Transatlantic slave trade 1807-2007. The reverse of the coin was designed by David Gentleman, and shows a chain with the date 1807. The obverse of this coin depicts the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, as designed by Ian Rank-Broadley. The edge inscription reads 'Am I Not a Man and a Brother'. - Weighs 12.00g and is struck in sterling (925.0) silver, with the outer plated with fine gold. - Manufactured by The Royal Mint. - Struck to a proof finish. - VAT free. - Diameter: 28.40mm. - Supplied with original Royal Mint box and certificate of authenticity.
