The obverse of the coin features an exquisitely detailed design showing a snake curled among bamboo stems. The traditional Chinese character for 'Snake' appears within the design, along with the inscription ‘Snake 2025’, and the Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. The reverse side of the coin bears Dan Thorne's portrait of King Charles III.
