### **$20 Gold Double Eagle Liberty Head - Extra Fine XF (Random Year)** The California Gold Rush in 1849 opened a flood gate for gold. The abundance of gold allowed the United States Government to take a historic and important decision that is to mint gold coins with higher denomination.
