2021 1/10oz American Eagle Gold Coin
A tenth ounce American Eagle gold coin from 2021. The obverse design features Lady Liberty with flowing hair holding a torch and olive branch. It was originally produced by Augustus Saint-Gaudens for the US Mint's limited edition Double Eagle coins in the early 1900s. The reverse of the coin is the classic design by Miley Tucker-Frost of a male eagle returning to a nest containing a female eagle and her hatchlings which has been featured on the eagle gold coin since its introduction in 1986. The 1/10 oz gold Eagle coin is struck in 22-carat gold (.9167) and contains 3.11 grams of pure gold, it is official legal tender in the United States of America, with a value of $5. By law, the gold must be sourced from American mines.
