Poland 2000 Zlotys (Fryderyk Chopin)
Description Poland 2000 Zlotys, dated 1977, were produced by the Mint of Poland, Warsaw. This was a commemorative issue. The obverse of the coin features the Polish Eagle, the national Coat of Arms of Poland. The reverse of the coin features the bust of Fryderyk Chopin. Fryderyk Chopin was a composer and pianist and often had a deep connection to Polish culture through his music. He moved to Paris and after his first concert, he was introduced to the wealthy Rothschild banking family, which opened up many opportunities for him. He spent most of his time in the highest society. The fields are deeply mirrored and the devices are heavily frosted for bold contrast on both sides of the coin. These coins are preowned and have a limited mintage of 4000. All of our gold coins are verified for authenticity by our experienced team. Any coins that fall short of our quality standards are not re-sold.
