Description The one ounce silver Eagle is a popular bullion coin minted by the United States Mint. These coins contain one troy ounce of fine silver and have a face value of $1, although the value is of course based on the market price of its metal content. This coin displays the Lady Liberty and the reverse shows the Eagle and the Shield as well as 13 stars representing the original colonies of what is now the USA. The coin also features one of the USA’s mottos ‘E Pluribus Unum’ meaning ‘Out of Many, One’. In 2021 the US Mint change the design of the silver Eagle so these coins will be dated from the coin’s inception in 1986 to 2021. These coins consist of 1oz of .0999 silver.
