Each coin contains one troy ounce of silver, with a purity of 999.0 fine silver, they are available in smaller denominations of ¼ and ½ ounce. They have a face value of 500 Drams which is displayed on the coin along with the year of issue and the depiction of Noah’s Ark. On the obverse of the one ounce silver Armenian Noah’s Ark we see the Armenian National Coat of Arms and the reverse of the coin displays Noah’s Ark in front of Armenia’s national symbol, Mount Ararat.
