One Ounce Gold Buffalo
Description One Ounce Gold Buffalo coins are produced by the US mint and were first minted in 2006. They represent North American heritage. The One Ounce Gold Buffalo was an alternative to the 1oz American Eagle (22ct), to cater for investors who preferred 24ct, both coins have a face value of $50. The coin features James Earle Fraser’s design of a Native American in profile on the obverse. The Buffalo/North American Bison can be seen on the reverse along with the inscription ‘E PLURIBUS UNUM’, which translates to ‘Out of many, one’. This is a traditional American Motto which appears on the Great Seal of the US. These coins tend to be highly sought after and therefore carry a higher premium than some of the other coins we sell. These coins are preowned, please contact us to find out what years we have available. All of our Gold Buffalo coins are verified for authenticity by our experienced team.
