Description One Ounce Gold Australian Lunar coins were introduced as a series in 1996 and celebrates the animals of the lunar zodiac. These one ounce Gold Lunar Coins are a mixture of years and designs. The three series of Lunar coins from the Perth Mint started with the Year of the Rat in 1996 and have been issued since. The first series ranged from 1996 to 2007, the second from 2008 to 2019 and the third from 2020 onwards. The one ounce gold Australian Lunar series will consist of one of the following animals: - Year of the Mouse, Year of the Ox, Year of the Tiger, Year of the Dragon, Year of the Snake, Year of the Horse, Year of the Goat, Year of the Monkey, Year of the Rooster, Year of the Dog and Year of the Pig These coins are preowned.
