Description The Metalor 500g silver bar is a popular option when investing in silver. These are brand new bars, sent to us directly from Metalor. Metalor are one of the world’s largest and most trusted precious metal refiners based in Switzerland. Silver 500g bars are approximately equivalent to 16 x 1oz silver coins, and as such have a lower margin than individual coins. The Metalor 500g silver bar represents an excellent investment option, especially if buying silver in bulk due to its low price and ease of storage. The bars come with a paper assay certificate as confirmation of their authenticity. Each bar has its own serial number which matches its certificate. Silver 500g bars are poured into their mould as part of the refining process. For this reason the bars aren’t smooth and often feel uneven on the reverse. This is expected however, and doesn’t affect their value. We will buy back silver bars, and it’s best to always keep the bars in the same condition as purchased. If the bars have been damaged or are missing their certificates a lower price would be paid. For more information, please contact us by emailing [email protected] or by calling us on 020 7240 4041.
