Description The Half Ounce Gold Panda was first made in 1982 and up until 2000 had a face value of 50 yuan, but now has a face value of 200 yuan. The last half ounce Panda was minted in 2015, after which the coin changed to a 15g coin in 2016, which is slightly smaller. The coin depicts the Temple of Heaven in Beijing on the obverse, while the reverse has an annually changing design of the panda. The half ounce gold Panda are made in 24ct.
