Elizabeth II Sovereign 2002 – Display Card & Sealed
Description Elizabeth II Sovereign 2002 coins were produced by the Royal Mint and displays the fourth separate depiction of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This reverse of the Sovereign features a Shield, rather than the classic St. George and Dragon design. This was a special design to commemorate the Golden Jubilee. Elizabeth II Sovereign 2002 coins are minted in 22ct gold and have been so since the original “modern” design was issued in 1817. This design is a limited edition and comes in a sealed display card that details the coin and the specifications. We would advise you to keep it sealed. These coins benefit from being Capital Gains Tax (CGT) and VAT free. All UK gold and silver bullion coins manufactured by the Royal Mint are legal tender and are exempt from Capital Gains Tax.
