Proof Gold Sovereign 2018
Description This Proof gold Sovereign, dated 2018, was produced by the Royal Mint and features the most recent portrait of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II designed by Jody Clark. This is the fifth separate depiction of Her Majesty the Queen and the reverse features Benedetto Pistrucci’s design of St. George and the Dragon. The proof version of the coin has a small mintmark of the number 65 to commemorate Elizabeth II’s Sapphire Jubilee (65 years as monarch).
