Three struck in the reign of Queen Victoria, one each from the reigns of Edward VII and George V and four in the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Included is the Victoria Young Head (1872) and Jubilee Head (1891), both with a shield reverse. The Victoria Old Head (1897), Edward VII (1910), George V (1913), QEII (1982 & 2006) all with Benedetto Pistrucci’s classic portrayal of St. George slaying the dragon. QEII (2002) ‘The New Shield’ and finally QEII (2005) ‘A New St George’. Each half sovereign coin comes in a plastic capsule, along with original Royal Mint boxes and combined informative booklet and certificate of authenticity. These coins benefit from being Capital Gains Tax (CGT) free. All UK gold and silver bullion coins manufactured by the Royal Mint are legal tender and are exempt from Capital Gains Tax.
