Description Colombia 10 Pesos (Diez Pesos) from the Bogota Mint (Casa de Moneda de Bogotá). In 1919, these coins were struck by Casa de Moneda de Colombia and a total of 101,000 coins were struck. In 1924 they were produced again, by the Bogota Mint and 55,000 were struck. This means the Colombia 10 Pesos has a total mintage of 156,000. The reverse of the coin features the Colombian coat of arms. The obverse of the coin features the portrait of Simón Bolívar, who was a military leader, famous for leading the revolution against the Spanish Empire.
