Britannia is a warrior and can be seen clutching her trident, behind her protective shield, against a background of waves that appear to move. There is also a latent image which changes from a trident to a padlock surface animation. The obverse of the bar features the Royal Mint logo, bar weight and purity, along with waves, referencing Britannia and her link to the sea. The bar is protected in serialised security packaging, printed with a unique serial number, matching the number imprinted in the bullion bar to act as a certificate.
